Porcelain Crowns

Are your teeth chipped, crooked, or stained? Are you embarrassed about the gaps between your teeth?

If you are in need of a smile makeover, porcelain crowns, inlays, and/or onlays are an ideal option. Porcelain crowns improve your smile and look completely natural. Whether you need to repair small chips or cracks, gaps and spaces, or significant discoloration, porcelain crowns solve a variety of cosmetic dental issues.

What Are Porcelain Crowns?

Porcelain crowns, inlays, and onlays are made from porcelain or resin composite at our dental lab and fitted perfectly to your teeth.

The crowns, inlays, or onlays are made to cover your current teeth and improve their appearance. The crowns are then applied to your teeth, permanently.

These tooth coverings look and feel natural because we use porcelain, which looks very similar to teeth. If a crown is used on only one tooth or a small number of teeth, the color is matched to your teeth after a professional cleaning. This ensures a completely natural looking, but perfected smile.

How many visits to get crowns?

Only three visits to Dr. Wilhite’s dental office are needed to apply porcelain crowns, inlays, or onlays.

During the first visit, your teeth are examined and evaluated to determine if you are a candidate for porcelain crowns, inlays, or onlays.

During the second visit, we make a mold of your teeth to ensure accurate size and shaped tooth coverings. Finally, during the third visit, we apply the permanent porcelain crowns, inlays, or inlays.

You will get to walk out from the third appointment with your new, improved smile.
